F&I Training & Sales Training that's Complete and Comprehensive
Kelly HOT TIP of the Quarter:
Second Quarter 08
Tax season is almost behind us and the refund checks should be in the post boxes. What are the customers going to be doing with the windfall of tax returns? Perhaps one- expenditure could be to purchase a service agreement on the new vehicle that was purchased within the past year.
How are you marketing for those lost policies? Are you utilizing the Internet with e-mailing the customers, providing them perhaps an Internet coupon? What steps are you taking to make this an easy purchase? Do you have for example a zero interest payment plan, or perhaps the GE mile marker credit card?
Place a quick telephone call to your customer advising them that they will be receiving an important e-mail from the dealership with in the next few days, be sure to open it up and review it. After the e-mail has been sent give it a few days then telephone the customer to offer to answer any questions about the customizing of the perfect plan that meets the customer’s driving needs.
The key to additional sales is to:
1) Telephone announcing the future e-mail
2) Send the short focused e-mail with an internet coupon
3) Telephone the customer to provide additional information
This is the perfect time to follow-up on lost sales.
